Did You Know? Summary Administration Criteria
In Florida, there is certain criteria that determines whether a probate estate qualifies for summary administration in Florida.
- Decedent must be dead for more than 2 years;
- Value of the entire estate, excluding non-exempt assets, shall not be greater than $75,000.
If there is a Last Will & Testament, must not direct administration pursuant to Chapter 733 of Florida Statutes.
